IPS NIFON, the honorary president of AIDRom, elected to the Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches

H.E. NIFON is part of the Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches, following the elections held on September 8, 2022, during the 11th Assembly of the WCC, in Karlsruhe. The WCC Executive Committee has 20 elected members who, together with the leadership of the Central Committee, govern the World Council of Churches and oversee the implementation of its policies and programs. The Executive Committee meets twice a year and its membership includes 48% women and 52% men, 80% ordained and 20% lay, 8% indigenous, 4% disabled and 12% youth.

The newly-elected executive committee members are:
