Legal advice for the Ukrainian refugees

AIDRom team members organized August 16, 2022, a psychological and legal counseling session attended by 22 beneficiaries, Ukrainian refugees. The activity was carried out with the support of the Technical University of Constructions from Bucharest, which offered the space for the event in the Student House no. 2. The participants received information and were trained to understand the fiscal regulations regarding payroll as well as the legal provisions regarding employment in Romania. Other topics presented and debated were the legal provisions applied in Romania regarding domestic violence, as well as those regarding combating and preventing human trafficking.

The counseling session is part of the series of legal consulting activities carried out within the project: “AIDRom response to the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis”, financed by ACT Alliance.
