Conference “Future challenges and solutions for the humanitarian situation generated by the war in Ukraine”, 9 December 2022, Bucharest, Romania
In anticipation of the International Migrants Day, marked by the UN on 18th of December, the Ecumenical Association of Churches in Romania – AIDRom organizes the conference ”Future Challenges for the Protection and Inclusion of Refugees in Ukraine”, at Bucharest, on December 9th. The event is part of the “AIDRom – Emergency response for communities affected by the conflict in Ukraine” program, funded by the ACT Alliance.
The debates will take place in 3 panels held during the conference:
Panel 1 – Authorities’ response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine
Panel 2 – Civil society response to the refugee crisis in Ukraine.
Panel 3 – The refugee crisis as seen through their eyes.
Representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Embassy of Ukraine, UNHCR, International Organization for Migrants in Bucharest, Act Alliance, local authorities and Ukrainian refugees were invited to the conference..
