Refugees from Ukraine enjoy a cultural foray at the Cotroceni National Museum
24 of beneficiaries of the project “Integration of Ukrainian refugees in Romania”, financed by Brot für die Welt had the opportunity to discover at the end of last week, values full of history and art, and to explore stories full of medieval charm and influences from the modern history of the royal dynasty during the visit organized by the AIDRom team for them at the Cotroceni National Museum.
Participants of the visit on 9 June 2023 had the opportunity to better connect to Romania’s cultural roots and get acquainted with the richness of our national heritage, discovering more about our country’s history. At the same time they could admire the medieval and modern works of art and objects exhibited in the museum.
AIDRom continues to be involved in supporting refugees and promoting their integration in Romania. Cultural and educational activities, such as this visit to the Cotroceni National Museum, are an important way to facilitate mutual knowledge and build bridges of understanding between different communities.
