A ray of hope for refugees and asylum seekers: AIDRom and DGASMB Food Packs
On 17 August 2023, within the scope of our partnership with the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Bucharest (DGASMB), initiated in 2021, we offered food packages to asylum seekers and refugees from third countries, hosted in the Reception, Accommodation and Procedures Centre for Asylum Seekers in Bucharest.
With every food package distributed, I bring a glimmer of hope and support to those who have had to leave their country and family and need support on this journey.
Yesterday, we also had a touching story when our colleagues helped a brave mother from Ukraine with 9 children. Surely these products will bring a little bit of comfort and smiles on the faces of these children, despite the struggles they face away from home.
Thank you to DGASMB and our colleagues involved in this partnership, that from 2021 offers every 2 weeks such packs.
