The 6th training of the SAFE HUT capacity building session
Participants of the 6th training of the capacity building session of the project ” SAFE HUT – Creating safe spaces for the empowerment of women and girls (WGSS)”, learned today, 23.11.2023 valuable information about “Child protection and the childcare in WGSS”.
AIDRom team members, together with other specialists, learned important information and talked to trainer Micol Alberizzi, Technical Advisor, involved in supporting IRC child protection programmes across Europe about:
– Introduction to child protection and child abuse and maltreatment
– Disclosure and referrals
– Childcare services in WGSS and child-centered approaches.
The capacity building session designed by IRC (Italy and Germany), CESIE (Italy) and Centro Penc (Italy), includes 7 meetings, during November and December 2023, providing essential information to understand and address issues related to gender-based violence.
The next course, open to all professionals working in the field of migration in reception centres, associations and local institutions, will take place online on 28 November 2023.
