2023 was a challenging year of uncertainty and change. But the AIDRom team continued to dedicate itself to the mission of providing help and support to vulnerable people and communities. 2023 was also a year of recognition of our activities, through the feedback received from partners and donors, but also through the award received at the LPA-NGO. Partnership Gala.We invite you to hear our success stories and lessons learned in 2023, when we were able to bring hope and comfort to the hearts and homes of those in need.

Annual Report – 2022
In 2022, AIDRom supported, coordinated and facilitated long-term sustainable development activities and had an immediate reaction to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. AIDRom‘s actions and projects aimed at the inclusion of marginalized people, the social reintegration of high-risk people, equal opportunities, the fight against human trafficking and discrimination, and assistance for refugees and migrants who wanted to integrate into Romania. AIDRom has also multiplied efforts to strengthen ecumenical and inter-ethnic cooperation for peace and stability, to alleviate segregation in multi-ethnic communities, and to ensure respect for human rights.

Annual Report – 2021
AIDRom continued to support in 2021 the undertaken projects, which benefited more than 3000 people at risk, such as refugees, asylum seekers, unemployed people looking for a job, victims of human trafficking, citizens of third countries, such as the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Egypt, Jordan, etc.

Annual Report – 2020
The year 2020 meant for the whole world the biggest test, maybe even since the Second World War. But, in a world shaken by the pandemic, AIDRom continued to support the projects undertaken, which benefited more than 1800 people at risk (unemployed people looking for a job, victims of human trafficking, migrants, citizens of third countries: Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Egypt, Jordan, etc.). When most employees benefited from the telework regime, AIDRom assistants worked face-to-face in AIDRom‘s counseling and accommodation centers and in the Regional Centers of the General Inspectorate for Immigration.

Annual Report – 2019
AIDRom continued the programs started in 2018 and also developed its infrastructure, continued the professional training of the members of the Association of Christian Churches in Romania (Oradea Philanthropy Association, the Emergency Transit Center in Timișoara, the Multifunctional Center in Iasi, etc.), and promoted the cooperation with the Lutheran Church in Sibiu by developing joint projects in the field of migration.

Annual Report – 2018
AIDRom continued its activity, promoting social projects in the field of assisting disadvantaged people, victims of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, as well as in the field of migration and community development. AIDRom specialized in the field of migration and became a strategic partner of the General Inspectorate for Immigration. Also, AIDRom is a strategic partner of the National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons – ANITP. Since 2018, AIDRom has also become a partner of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), running an extensive project to assist resettled refugees.
