GFFO contribution to ILO regional appeal for Ukraine and neighboring countries

The ”GFFO contribution to ILO regional appeal for Ukraine and neighboring countries” project is conducted during 15.06.2023 – 31.12.2023 and aims to support Ukrainian and other third-country nationals who have received temporary protection or another form of international protection on the territory of Romania. The project addresses (core target group) Ukrainian citizens, with a temporary residence permit or passport, living in the areas of Iași and Galați.

The project is carried out in partnership between the International Organization for Migration (applicant) and the Ecumenical Association of Churches in Romania AIDRom (partner) in Iași and Galați.

 The core objective of all initiatives undertaken in response to the conflict in Ukraine is to support Ukrainian and other third-country nationals who have received temporary protection or other forms of international protection on Romanian territory.

Specific objectives:

• Organizing socio-cultural activities and cultural accommodation for Ukrainian citizens
• Facilitating access of Ukrainian beneficiaries to health, psychological, and material assistance services, etc.
• Equipping and maintaining AIDRom centers in Iași and Galați
