A new project “AIM 5 – Actions for the integration of migrants in Region 5” (Timis, Arad, Bihor, Hunedoara, Mehedinți and Caras-Severin)

The project “AIM 5 – Actions for the Integration of Migrants in Region 5” is implemented by AIDRom – Ecumenical Association of Churches in Romania, together with its Partners: Oradea Philanthropy Association, Timis County Prefect Institution, Caras-Severin County Prefect Institution, Bihor County Prefect Institution, during the period 27.12.2022-26.10.2023. Funded by the European Union and the General Inspectorate for Immigration, through the National Programme – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, the project aims to increase the level of social integration of BP and RTT in Region 5 (Timisoara, Arad, Bihor, Hunedoara, Mehedinți and Caras Severin), through access to personalized and comprehensive integration services, to strengthen local inter-institutional support networks, community support, volunteer networks and representative members of the communities of foreigners. At the same time, it aims to develop the professional capacities of the actors involved in assisting beneficiaries of international protection (BP) and third country nationals with the right to stay in Romania (on the basis of a short or long-term residence permit), who need support for integration in Romania, as defined in national and European legislation.
]During the 10 months of implementation, the project “AIM 5 – Actions for the integration of migrants in Region 5” will support the socio-economic and cultural integration of beneficiaries of international protection and third-country nationals into Romanian society in Region 5 (CRCPSA Timisoara): Timis, Arad, Bihor, Hunedoara, Mehedinti and Caras Severin.
