Total budget: 3,575,196 lei
– non-reimbursable European funding: 3,217,676.4 lei;
– non-reimbursable national funding: 286,015.68 lei.
Location: Region 6 (Giurgiu, Călărași, Ialomița, Teleorman, Olt, and Dolj counties), through the Regional Integration Centers in the cities of Craiova and Giurgiu.
General objective: to strengthen the socio-economic inclusion of migrants in Region 6 of Romania by providing integrated and personalized support, from language and civic education courses to medical and legal assistance to the professional component, to outline the occupational profile, and, implicitly, to facilitate access to the labor market, involving resources from the community, by expanding collaboration with local authorities, NGOs and the private sector and by encouraging dialogue with the host society.
Specific objectives:
(1) Facilitating free access for at least 400 beneficiaries to information services, legal or material assistance, and health, including access to services offered by the community;
(2) Facilitating the improvement of the occupational profile and social integration capacity for 320 employable migrants, through Romanian language courses, civic orientation courses, and professional guidance for employment;
(3) Encouraging dialogue between the host community and migrants, as well as the involvement of the community, NGOs, and authorities in the field, to accept and integrate migrants into the local communities where they live.
Estimated results:
(1) 320 members of the target group (BPI/BPT/RTT) from the Regional Integration Centers in Craiova and Giurgiu will complete at least 2 Romanian language courses/week;
(2) 320 members of the target group (BPI/BPT/RTT) from the Regional Integration Centers in Craiova and Giurgiu will complete civic and cultural orientation courses and will participate in socio-cultural and recreational activities;
(3) 400 members of the target group (BPI/BPT/RTT) from the Regional Integration Centers in Craiova and Giurgiu will receive information about their rights and obligations in Romania, essential information for family reunification, for obtaining citizenship and/or right of permanent residence;
(4) 260 target group members (BPI/BPT/RTT) from the Regional Integration Centers in Craiova and Giurgiu will receive material assistance for vulnerable persons.
