Project presentation:

The “Transition from Emergency Assistance to Sustainable and Autonomous Social Inclusion of Ukrainian Refugees in Romanian Society – IncludE-UA” project aims to support the integration of Ukrainian refugees who benefit from temporary protection in Romania. The main objective is to facilitate their transition from reliance on emergency aid to sustainable social and economic inclusion through a series of activities designed to ensure access to essential services and opportunities for personal and professional development.

As part of the project, temporary protection beneficiaries will participate in orientation, socio-cultural, and recreational activities, providing them with the necessary information and support to adapt to their new reality in Romania. Through information and counseling sessions, key aspects of daily life will be addressed, ranging from rights and obligations to practical matters related to integration into local communities. Additionally, the project will support refugees’ access to the healthcare system, ensuring they are informed about available medical services and how to access them.

A crucial component of this initiative is facilitating access to the labor market, offering refugees employment opportunities and support in their professional integration. To this end, professional counseling sessions will be organized, providing information on labor market requirements and connecting them with local employers. In addition to job search assistance, the project will encourage the development of skills necessary for long-term and independent integration into Romanian society.

“IncludE-UA” aims to create a sustainable framework for the inclusion of Ukrainian refugees, based on community support and interinstitutional collaboration. The activities carried out will help reduce their vulnerability and build a stable future in Romania through an integrated approach focused on personal development, autonomy, and active inclusion.
