Locations

General objective
The project aims to support the socio-economic and cultural integration of beneficiaries of international protection, third-country nationals, and beneficiaries of temporary protection into Romanian society, in Region 5, through an integrated and complex approach – by providing the information and services they need in a single location and by strengthening the collaboration and active involvement of the authorities and the local community in supporting migrants in the integration process.
Specific objectives
1. Increasing the level of social integration of beneficiaries of a form of international protection (BPI), beneficiaries of temporary protection (BPT) and third-country nationals (RTT), foreigners with the right to stay, from Region 5, through access to individualized and complex integration services.
2. Strengthening local inter-institutional support networks, community support, volunteer networks, and representative members of the foreigners’ communities.
3. Developing the professional capacities of actors involved in assisting the target group.
Target groups
The main target groups addressed by the project are:
Beneficiaries of a form of international protection (BPI) in the integration program and those who for valid reasons could not participate in the integration program (health, family, etc.);
- Beneficiaries of temporary protection (BPT);
- Third-country nationals (TCN), foreigners with a right of residence
Through this project, the activity of the 2 RICs, the Timișoara Regional Integration Center and the Oradea Regional Integration Center, will continue, offering, free of charge, specialized social and legal counseling services, material assistance for vulnerable categories, Romanian language courses and cultural accommodation, leisure activities for migrants, specific actions for minor beneficiaries of the target group and mediation of the relationship of migrants with the institutions involved in the project. Volunteer networks, training sessions, and information and awareness sessions on the phenomenon of migration in the local community will also be strengthened.
